Plumber

 Job Purpose: 

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team, working on various projects across Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on residential and commercial projects.

 Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Study and analyse blueprints and floor plans to understand the plumbing system and water supply system layout.
  • Installs pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
  • Installs supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation.
  • Assembles fittings and valves for installation.
  • Modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building.
  • Uses saws and pipe cutters as necessary.
  • Installs heating and air-conditioning systems, including water heaters.
  • Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing.
  • Tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
  • Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair.
  • Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building.
  • Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes.
  • Performs inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts.
  • Installing heating system.
  • Familiarise yourself with Procore and the facets within it.
  • Capture all RFI’s, Damage, theft and out of scope work through Procore
  • Assemble valves, fittings, tubes and water system appliances.
  • Install and maintain water system.
  • Adhere to any health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors.
  • To ensure that all company standards and policies are followed and maintained at all times.
  • Any other duties as requested or required by the Manager or Senior Management Team.
Person Specification: 
  • Proven experience as a time served plumber.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and tools.
  • Good communication.
