Job Purpose: |
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team, working on various projects across Co. Louth & Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on residential and commercial projects.
Duties and Responsibilities: |
- Study and analyse blueprints and floor plans to understand the plumbing system and water supply system layout.
- Installs pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
- Installs supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation.
- Assembles fittings and valves for installation.
- Modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building.
- Uses saws and pipe cutters as necessary.
- Installs heating and air-conditioning systems, including water heaters.
- Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing.
- Tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
- Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair.
- Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building.
- Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes.
- Performs inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts.
- Installing heating system.
- Familiarise yourself with Procore and the facets within it.
- Capture all RFI’s, Damage, theft and out of scope work through Procore
- Assemble valves, fittings, tubes and water system appliances.
- Install and maintain water system.
- Adhere to any health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors.
- To ensure that all company standards and policies are followed and maintained at all times.
- Any other duties as requested or required by the Manager or Senior Management Team.
Person Specification: |
- Proven experience as a time served plumber.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and tools.
- Good communication.
